Lyndhurst Custom Cabinetry has been in operation since 2013 as a high quality maker of custom cabinetry and woodwork for the Kingston and Ottawa Valley area. Founded, owned, and operated continuously by Hunter Basten, all work done is meticulous and personally guaranteed. Basten was born and raised in Lyndhurst and has over 15 years experience as a cabinetmaker, having learned the trade through work experience with a wide variety of experts before purchasing his shop location and machinery and opening his own business in 2013 which is located just outside the beautiful and historic village of Lyndhurst at 501 Lyndhurst Rd.

Since then he has earned a loyal customer base through customer reviews and recommendations, and he has grown his business to include a team of employees, while still maintaining the high standard of work that has earned him his reputation.

Offering design services, computer renderings and plans, building, and installation, Lyndhurst Custom Cabinetry can provide customers with custom woodwork to suit any need.

Hunter has over 15 years experience as a cabinetmaker and has a passion for creating and installing high quality woodwork to meticulous standards. His reputation has grown steadily over the years and his craftsmanship and work speaks for itself and can be seen in many businesses, venues, and residences throughout Kingston and the Ottawa Valley area. Hunter and his family live in Lyndhurst and are passionate about the local community.

Ethan is a newer member of the team and has brought with him a broad skill set he learned at St Lawrence College’s carpentry techniques program. He currently is increasing his knowledge of all aspects of the design, building, and installation of custom cabinetry and he is a positive and hardworking team member.
